How booking works at Neighbourhood Cafe
There is no self-serve booking calendar on this site yet. When you call or email, tell us the date, preferred time, and how many people are in your party. We will check the floor and confirm back — usually the same day during opening hours. A little notice helps: for weekend brunch or Thursday–Sunday pizza evenings, booking a few days ahead is wise when you can.
Typical busy times include Saturday and Sunday mornings for coffee and breakfast, and woodfire pizza nights from late afternoon when the oven is running. Midweek daytime is often quieter if you prefer a slower pace. If your plans change, a quick call lets us free the table for someone else.
For group bookings and larger tables, please get in touch with your numbers and occasion. We will confirm what we can accommodate once the team has set the current policy for big parties and special requests.
Walk-ins & follow-up
Walk-ins, coffee and dinner service
Walk-ins are welcome for coffee and daytime dining whenever a table is free — that is how many neighbours use the cafe. You do not need a reservation for a flat white or a quick breakfast. For woodfire pizza evenings, walk-ins are still possible when space allows, but a booking is the more reliable option if you are coming with a group or on a busy night.
After you call or email, expect a confirmation with the time we have held for you. If we need to suggest a nearby slot, we will say so clearly. Arrive around your booked time so we can seat you promptly; if you are running late, a phone call helps us hold the table a little longer when we can.
Pickup orders never need a table booking — use Square for takeaway and collect when ready. For anything else, contact us and we will point you in the right direction.
